I share your concerns about gender identity, but I'm not sure that folks who identify as a different gender are looking a "gang to conform with." I think they're just looking for meaning and connection. They're looking in the wrong place, but maybe instead of a slap in the face we could help them start looking in the right place (ex. religion, IRL friends, etc).
