The change in the interpretation of Title IX of the term "sex" from "sex" to "gender" is a completely incorrect modification of the word. The word "sex" is clear. It is not gender. It is "male" and "female".

Title IX was itself a mistake, insisting that women's sports are the equivalent to men's. The trannies have simply called the bluff.

If that was the case, there would only be one sex-neutral category and both men and women would have the same opportunity to compete in it according to their ability.

Thanks for this. As well, the story of the East German women's swimmers who were given the T without their consent or knowledge and all of their competitors knew they were cheating. Ruined lives. I cannot believe I didn't punch out the marxists holdovers in my social circles, circa late 1980s-1990s. (I did confront the one Stalin apologist back then. Not that he listened.)

It’s preposterous to think the IOC will allow this to happen. The Olympics isn’t a microcosm of western ideology. All nations participate and all nations expect a fair competition. What nation (that hasn’t been captured by leftist gender ideology) is going to be cool with this? How about any Muslim nation? African? Chinese? Russian? Basically 80% of the world’s population would revolt. Why are you so certain the IOC will allow this to happen?

Yes, it is. The Olympics was refounded based on an ancient Greek tradition. The only reason women compete at all is due to Western norms on women's equality.

You wrote nothing. You just came in acting like a third year history major telling us what your dumb fucking interpretation of the Olympic Games actually is without addressing the point of the article.

Here’s the thing, the reason we’re in this mess is because of guys like you. The quick shifters and distraction artists. So when you ask about relevance, here it is: you and your kind need to be told to shut the fuck up more frequently. We’re not here to dress the world up to your liking.

> Here’s the thing, the reason we’re in this mess is because of guys like you.

The reason we're in this mess is because feminism (especially its later waves) is based on falsehoods and the trannies are calling their bluffs.

> We’re not here to dress the world up to your liking.

My linking is for the world to be "dressed" in accordance to truth and it will end up dressed that way whether you accept it or not.

Which truth would that be? Do we want to get into Olympic history? You going to tell Iran and Saudi Arabia that Niaz will have to box against Greg?

The Olympics historically were male only. So what is your point? That by admitting trannies into the women’s division we are keeping with history?

Unfair Play, a book by British Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies, provides a comprehensive and well-documented list of the advantages male puberty confers on men in sports, whatever 'gender identity' those men claim. Though most of us don't need convincing that males do not belong in women's sports.

Boycott is the obvious course of action, but for many athletes, particularly women who have children, there is only one window in the their lives when they can compete in the Olympics. Very few get a second shot at it, so they should not be required to give up their main chance because of the selfish and even "insane" actions of men. And this insanity is not just transgender males (I won't call them women because they are NOT women), but the men on all the sporting committees that make these insane and deeply misogynistic decisions to allow women athletes to be pummeled by men. How sick are these men that they want to see it happen. Sick and insane.

".....these insane and deeply misogynistic decisions to allow women athletes to be pummeled by men.."

It's a shame there was not similar outrage when women put on 'man face' and flooded the male workspace - abandoning their own children in order to do so - for the sake of 'fulfilment' and 'lifestyle'. The level of narcissism and entitlement was the same, but with far more devastating consequences for society (as a whole) than having a few women athletes losing out on gold medals, as unfair as that is.

Feminism's LARPing of men's lifestyles meant the lowering of wages, pushing millions of working class men (and their families) into poverty, and blocking male 'shop floor' workers from any chance of promotion to admin/ managerial positions, because most women's entry point usually is admin/ managerial positions (bypassing the shop floor altogether).

Women's abandonment of motherhood (which is now called 'stay-at-home' motherhood - as if there were any other kind), and women's embrace of male aspirations, male careers, male lifestyles, more masculine identities and even (a parody of) male sexuality (ie the 1990's 'girl power' movement to normalise casual, promiscuous, 'consequence free' sex and drinking culture) has been a catastrophe for women, and all of society. Dating, relationships and family life has collapsed, primarily because young women have abandoned the female gender role and are stuck in a kind of limbo state (adopting both hyper feminism and hyper masculine traits - much like the trans people that social media loves to mock so much).

But we are all forced to celebrate it, fund it and promote it under the banner of 'women's empowerment' ... just like we are now all forced to cheer for trans sports.

Perhaps if women wanting children had been socially pressured to prioritise the role of mother (as a responsibility, privilege and identity) above any 'career' aspirations, children would not have been thrown to the wolves and indoctrinated into gender ideology over the past 3 generations.... an indoctrination that started with feminism's very own 'social construct' theory of gender which laid the foundation for the current trans apocalypse.

The sports/ bathrooms/ locker room issue is the very tippy top of a giant and multi generational iceberg that nobody wants to look at, because it's much easier to just 'blame men' for everything (as usual) and portray women as innocent, helpless, powerless victims (as usual), rather than the dominant drivers of social and cultural norms in society!

Blaming men puts responsibility for change into the hands of those who are least able to affect change. Men cannot even win basic reproductive autonomy rights, parenting rights, workplace safety rights, divorce rights or domestic violence rights for themselves. Why would anyone think they can affect social change on this issue?

What if the de-gendering of society (of the human species!) can only be stopped by modern post feminist women embracing their own female gender again?

How many modern women would be prepared to give up their 'man face' lifestyle and identity, and commit to a role of full time motherhood again to protect their children from all this transhumanist indoctrination, as well as embrace the traditional gender roles that are required to support such an endeavour?

For a woman to fully protect her children from outside indoctrination, and transfer her own cultural values, morals and a sense of identity to them, requires a man to fully protect and provide for the family... and that leads us right back to the dreaded patriarchy! I think that's why so many people prefer to focus on the superficial symptoms (trans athletes), and not the root cause (the complete deconstruction of parenting and the family over the past century). They want to save gender in principle, but without having to actually embrace gender in their own lives.

Sorry, didn't mean to write an essay :)

I can’t even believe we’re having this conversation. Remember the East German swimmers who were drugged and looked like men? They were labeled cheaters because they were. Keep biological men out of women sports. Simple.

Leslie here. E-mail glitch at Substack thinks I'm Susan.

I, and many other "transphobic" men, have been beating this drum for years. All normal people agree that men shouldn't be competing as women. Yet still they are. So I have to say we've done all we can. It's up to women to decide how badly they want to preserve the integrity of their sports. If you keep silent and take your place in the starting blocks against a man, you deserve whatever happens. Boycott him and he will look like an idiot competing all by himself. If women's sport flops at the Olympics in front of all those sponsors who have paid billions to cover it, the IOC will take notice.

I realize it's different for a collegiate athlete who will lose a scholarship or not get a Dean's letter if she speaks out. There is life after college and most college athletes will never compete again but instead will do whatever it was they went to college for. I throw no shade on Riley Gaines for waiting till after graduation to speak out. But Olympians and pros are invested in the sport. Let the trans guys compete and your credibility and your livelihood will be gone. No one is going to pay to watch mediocre men crush plucky women. This is on you now.

TrackerNeil's avatar

I disagree. Expecting women to pay the freight for trans women's feelings of validation started this problem; we shouldn't expect women to also shell out for the solution.

I think this is everyone's fight.

Leslie MacMillan's avatar

Well, sure. But men can’t boycott women’s sports as players and contestants. Ultimately it’s on women to say, “No. it stops here.”

I would like to see trans ideology go down to crashing defeat on this issue just because truth matters. The sport thing is one of its biggest lies and hurts a lot of normal people who otherwise never think about trans people. But fundamentally I couldn’t care less about women’s sport as such. It’s something women will have to decide if they care enough to save. What I’m seeing is that few in organized feminism do, through fear of being called transphobes or right-wingers and losing their government and NGO grants. Planned Parenthood and the pro-choice movement have been completely captured. Most feminists in public life today don’t look as if they’ve had much athletic experience, if you get my drift.

You are big on saying that everyone should make it their fight. But what if Ukraine decides it’s had enough and throws in the towel? Do we still make it “everyone’s” fight by sending our ground troops to fight the Russians?
